S.E.E.D.S. Program

S.E.E.D.S. (Social, Emotional, and Empathy Development for Success) is a collaborative program based on Montessori Philosophy and the latest findings in child mental health, development and learning. I work closely with parents, head guides, assistant guides, school personnel and other professionals involved in the student’s care to:

  • Conduct careful and thorough observations and assessment of the student
  •  Devise an individualized plan that will foster the student’s academic and developmental needs
  • Provide follow-up to monitor progress

What is included?

  • In-class observation(s) of the student
  • Discussing concerns with the head guide and other school personnel
  • Meeting with parents at the school, my office or the student’s home
  • Family coordination and education
  • Devising individualized strategies that can be implemented in class and at home
  • Providing resources and referrals to services that will appropriately address the student’s developmental needs and linking the family with recommended services in the community
  • Recommendations for modifications and adjustments to daily school schedule, routine or structure
  • Written report of findings and recommendations
  • Individual and or family therapy sessions (additional charge applies)

Cost

  1. Comprehensive mental health related educational assessment and recommendations: $950
  2. If you don't want to buy the full package, you can also pay for each service individually:
    1. 90 Min. school observation without report: $350 
    2. 90 Min. school observation with written report: $450 
    3. Minimum of two 60 min. sessions: In-office assessment and follow-up: $140 each
    4. Communication such as email and phone calls with teachers and other professionals for the purpose of completing the assessment and follow-through: $35 per each 15 min.
