Yes! We accept several insurances. We always verify your benefits so there are no surprises before you start, and we file all the claims for you even if you have a PPO plan. You can view the list of insurances we accept by clicking  HERE

Yes! We offer an adjusted rate of $120 for clients who qualify for this due to their financial situation.

 Yes, we offer in-person sessions at our office in Hillcrest. 

Yes! We have several providers who work with teens ages 14 and up, and the owner, Paula Kettula, LCSW, specializes in working with young children as young as 2 years old through play therapy.

Play therapy is a developmentally appropriate approach that helps children express thoughts and emotions through play rather than words. In play, children naturally communicate their inner experiences, process difficult feelings, and develop coping skills in a safe and supportive environment.

At Porta Verum, we have a dedicated play therapy office designed with toys, art materials, and sandplay tools that allow children to explore, heal, and grow through the language of play.

Our private pay rate varies from $165 to $250 depending on the provider.
